Jim has spent his entire career creating and caring, with much of his work taking place with youth and young adults, BeWell Partners comes out of his commitment to support the emotional health of youth and young adults, and the importance of having safe and authentic communities
Jim facilitated retreats and various student events for several hundred students at Seattle University, has led over 30 service and immersion trips, co-directed the Capitol Hill Homeless Youth Center (Seattle), coached several sports at the high school and collegiate level, created and led an after-school wellness center at a local high school, taught at an Alternative Public Middle School, is a certified Love and Logic teacher, completed a 20-week class on Wellness and Positive Psychology Coaching, spent 10 weeks as a full-time ICU Chaplain Resident at Evanston (IL) Hospital, and is committed to making the world a bit better and easier for youth and young adults.
Jim is quick to admit that he also has many flaws, has made many mistakes, and needs to work harder at keeping good mental health.
He lives in Santa Barbara with his wife Ingrid and their two daughters (well, the girls are actually in college).
